mtv_maps

Creates MTV/Forklift StorageMap and NetworkMap custom resources on the destination OpenShift cluster for one source–target pair. Used from Configure storage and network maps.

Playbook: infra.openshift_virtualization_migration.vmf_mtv_maps (playbooks/vmf_mtv_maps.yml). The playbook targets migration_clusters and runs only when inventory_hostname equals target_name.

The role queries MTV inventory through mtv_query_inventory (datastores, storage classes, networks, NetworkAttachmentDefinitions), then applies the map CRs. It does not need source hypervisor credentials: MTV already has them from the provider.

Default map names are the RFC 1123 form of <source_name>-host. Required extra vars: source_name and target_name (same rules as mtv_provider).
