mtv_plans

Creates MTV/Forklift Plan custom resources on the destination OpenShift cluster from a wave request. Used from Defining a migration wave. The role does not start the migration.

Playbook: infra.openshift_virtualization_migration.vmf_mtv_plans (playbooks/vmf_mtv_plans.yml). Targets every host in migration_clusters unless you limit the run.

Required extra var: mtv_plans_migration_request with at least vms or folders. source and destination are MTV provider names (defaults vmware and host), not inventory host names. The role uses mtv_query_inventory to look up providers, VMs, and folders.

Set dry_run: true to print Plan manifests without applying them. verify_plans_ready waits until plans are Ready, not until disks copy.
